AEGIS London launches new Portfolio Solutions division

Lloyd’s syndicate AEGIS London has launched a new Portfolio Solutions division focusing on following third-party underwriting expertise in the London market, led by Richard Palengat.

The new division aims to allow AEGIS London to engage with brokers in a broader range while writing a diverse portfolio of follow business, including broker facilities, MGAs, reinsurance and Lloyd’s consortia.

The Portfolio Solutions now sits alongside the Specialist Underwriting division. Its existing Digital Trading team, which incorporates AEGIS London’s OPAL quote-and-bind platform, will now also become a new division and is expanding its digital follow capabilities.

The portfolio solution team also has underwriters, Henry Watts and Barry Plummer and assistant underwriter, Bradley Lawrence.
