Verifone unveils new payment device portfolio

Verifone has launched its new Verifone Victa portfolio of payment devices, alongside a new softPOS solution called Verifone Top and new biometric capabilities.

Following this announcement, the release will focus on providing businesses with the needed tools for secure, customer-focused sales, as well as upgrading the payment experience for shoppers with engaging and inclusive touchpoints.

In addition, the company will continue to focus on meeting the needs, preferences, and demands of clients and users in an ever-evolving market, while prioritising the process of remaining compliant with the regulatory requirements and laws of the industry as well.

Throughout this launch, the new Verifone Victa portfolio of payment devices will include solutions that cover all commerce use cases across verticals. With a variety of device types from mobile, to multilane, to companion devices, the Victa portfolio was developed in order to deliver improved transaction experiences and accessibility features. At the same time, the Victa devices are PCI 7-capable, ready for Android 14, and include a powerful Qualcomm processor and large screens to facilitate secure and captivating consumer interactions.

Furthermore, the Verifone Tap SoftPOS solution was developed in order to give businesses the possibility to scale their operations by accepting payments faster and extending their POS capabilities. The solution enables companies to take payment on commercially available smart devices that are equipped with Tap to Pay (NFC). This process is set to allow businesses to enhance their checkout experience including, pay-at-the-table, personalised no-line checkout, or curbside delivery and payment to increase throughput and speed of service. Verifone Tap also integrates into existing retail and hospitality POS systems and works as a companion solution alongside already existing Verifone payment devices.

At the same time, the Verifone biometrics solutions include Verifo. The fintech firm has developed biometric modules for existing devices in order to enable authentication, loyalty, and payment experience, as well as an optimised range with built-in biometric capabilities.
